Throughout the year, Asia University students, faculty, and staff take the initiative in organizing and presenting a wide range of special events. These events represent the spirit of Asia University, to strengthen ties of friendship and understanding.
April
- Entrance Ceremony
- Freshman Retreat Deai no Hiroba
A three-day orientation camp where new students can meet friends, faculty, and upper classmen and start their university experience on a good note.
- Freshman Welcome Party
- Regular Medical Exam

The numerous student clubs and organizations on campus compete with one another as they encourage freshmen to become new members.
May
- Home Prefecture Festival Kenjinsai
Students from the same prefecture gather together for this highly enjoyable event, introducing culture, games, and entertainers from their own part of Japan. The ultimate goal is to encourage friendship among the whole student body while increasing regional awareness.
- Athletic Festival Taikusai
Students enter a wide array of unique competitions teamed up with fellow club members, seminar classmates, or whomever they choose.
June
- Cultural Clubs Festival Bunrensai
The university's Federation of Academic and Cultural Clubs sponsors this event; individual clubs have the opportunity to display their day-to-day activities in the form of skits in foreign languages, study sessions, lectures and exhibits. A second festival follows in the evening featuring well-known entertainers.

- Floating University
Each year, the International Cultural Bureau of the Student Body Association organizes a theme-based short study tour for students. In the past, students have visited countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.

- Asia University Festival Ajiasai
This is the biggest event on the campus calendar, where over one hundred organizations including people in the community, participate. There are lectures, concerts, club demonstrations and exhibits, all finally culminating in a bonfire dubbed the "Fire Storm."

- Ginkgo Festival Ginkyousai
Excitement reaches a peak during this event organized by the various clubs that form the Physical Education Association. Among the attractions are an entertainment extravaganza and a cheerleading exhibition.
December
- International Week
A variety of events, all sharing the common goal of raising international awareness among the student body, takes place over the course of the week. The program is truly cosmopolitan: drama festivals put on by the various foreign-language societies, a speech contest for international students, a charity concert and much, much more.

Students Wakare no Hiroba One of a number of special events marking graduation, this celebration provides the opportunity for graduating students to say good-bye to teachers, classmates and fellow club members.

Extra-curricular Activities
At Japanese universities, extracurricular activities are an integral part of student life and are often considered by students to be even more important than classes. Inter-collegiate and intramural athletics, academic and interest clubs, and recreational circles offer students a variety of opportunities to participate in organized extracurricular activities. By encouraging interaction among students, such programs foster team spirit, build character, and often lead to lifetime friendships.
Student Body Association
Student Body Association The Student Body Association is a selfgoverning organization comprised of all Asia University students and Asia University Junior College students. The Association operates under an Executive Committee and a number of special bureaus whose main function is to represent and support students' academic and extracurricular concerns.
Clubs which secure official recognition are held accountable to the Student Body Association. In exchange, these clubs and organizations are eligible to receive funding and support from the association depending on their rank. The following are examples of the different kinds of clubs and organizations represented within the Student Body Association.

Registered Groups and Recreational Circles
There are currently around forty other groups registered by name but not officially recognized by the Student Body Association. In addition, there are numerous recreational circles composed of students with particular interests. Similar to the officially recognized clubs and organizations, these groups participate in a wide variety of sports and cultural activities but are not required to report to the Student Body Association.
