International Center - 2nd floor, Building 8
The Office of International Affairs is a helpful resource to international students or those interested in studying abroad. It provides information on immigration, scholarships, medical assistance, personal counseling, special activities, and other matters of interest and concern to international students. In particular, it handles all procedures and inquiries regarding entrance to the Intensive Japanese Course. The office also administers the university's exchange and study abroad programs, and the international student recruitment as well as developing relations with educational institutions abroad.
Student Center - 1st floor, Building 1
The Student Affairs Division assists students with completing any formalities that may arise over the course of student life. Examples include scholarships for Japanese students, part-time work information, financial advising, admission to dormitories, issuing of student ID and student discount certificates, student registration, withdrawal from university, excused and extended absences, lost and found, and the administration of the Parents of Students Support Association.
Registration Center - 1st floor, Building 1
This office handles various matters relating to classes and examinations such as timetables, methods of course completion, and testing. It also keeps academic records and issues certificates and transcripts.
Counseling Center
Professional counselors are on hand to offer advice on all aspects of student life, including academic work, personal relationships, and physical and mental health. Books on psychology and counseling are also available and may be borrowed from the center.
Health Center - 1st floor, Building 1
The Health Center conducts physical exams and provides first aid in case of accident or sudden illness on campus. A university physician is available for consultation and advice on health concerns.
Office of Academic Information - 3rd floor, Ota Kozo Memorial Hall
This office provides a wide variety of services related to the library and to Internet use, as well as handling inquiries and requests for specific research materials. A second office is located on the 4th floor of Building 7.
Office of Admissions - 1st floor, Building 1
The Office of Admissions handles all procedures and inquiries relating to entrance examinations with the exception of those for graduate school and entrance into the Intensive Japanese Course.
Office of Academic Affairs - 1st floor, Building 1
This office is primarily responsible for services related to faculty. However, it also manages all procedures and inquiries relating to recruitment and entrance to the graduate schools.
Office of Financial Affairs - 3rd floor, Building 1
Here students pay tuition, dormitory, certificate and transcript processing, and other miscellaneous fees. The Office of Financial Affairs is also responsible for administrative procedures relating to the use of campus facilities and equipment.
Office of Career Planning and Placement - 2nd floor, Building 1
The Office of Career Planning and Placement offers career counseling tailored to individual needs, helping students find the company best suited to their personal career goals. It provides guidance on finding work, conducts occupational aptitude testing, offers advice on recruitment exams on an industry-by-industry basis, and carries out mock job interviews. The office also provides access to job information over the Internet.
