Asia Educational Incorporative Information Security Policy

Asia Educational Incorporative establishes the following information security policy in order to protect and utilize the information it possesses and to implement appropriate information security measures.

1. Basic policy

In order for Asia Educational Incorporative (hereinafter referred to as the “Academy”) and Asia University University (hereinafter referred to as the “University”) established by the Academy to smoothly conduct educational and research activities and contribute broadly to society, We believe that it is essential to develop information systems and ensure information security.
For this reason, the academy and the university shall establish an information security policy (hereinafter referred to as "this policy"), protect and utilize information held by the academy and the university, and take appropriate information security measures.
This policy aims to:
 
(1) Prevention of infringements on the information security of the Academy and the University
(2) Suppression of actions that infringe on or off-campus information security
(3) Classification and management of information assets
(4) Early detection of information security breaches and rapid response
(5) Information security assessment and update

2. Definition of terms

The terms used in this policy are defined as follows.

(1) Information assets
Refers to information systems, information recorded in information systems, and information related to information systems.
(2) Information system
A system for creating, using, and managing information (information equipment and networks consisting of hardware and software).
(3) Information security
Maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.

Be accessible only to those authorized to access the information.

Authorized persons should have access to information when they need it.

3. Applicable people

This policy applies to all members who handle information assets.
The members referred to here are Officer, full-time staff, part-time Adjunct Lecturer, Undergraduate Student, Graduate Student, Research Student students, Part-time Students, special Auditing (Auditor) Student, and other members of the Academy and the University, as well as contractors, visitors, etc., the Academy and the University. Any person who uses information assets.

4. Applicable object

This policy applies to all information assets owned by the school and the university.

5. Organizational Structure

In order to ensure information security at the school and the university, we will appoint a Chief Information Security Officer. In addition, we will establish an organization and system to promote information security measures and clarify their authority and responsibility.

6. Compliance obligations, penalties, etc.

All Covered Persons must comply with this Policy.
Regarding the handling of information assets, it is also necessary to comply with laws and regulations. Penalties for violations of this policy, standards for measures based on this policy, implementation procedures based on this policy, and regulations related to information security will be determined separately.

7. Evaluate and update information security measures

The effectiveness of information security measures based on this policy will be regularly evaluated, and if improvement is deemed necessary, it will be promptly reviewed.

8. Department in charge

The department responsible for this policy shall be General Affairs Office General Affairs Division.
