Seeing, hearing, and experiencing a variety of things during your student days, and acquiring a wide range of perspectives and the ability to take action, is an important part of going out into society.

When I was a student Asia University, I climbed the highest peaks of the seven continents. This experience, unwittingly, gave me the "power" to face diverse cultures. The international social contribution activities that I began working on after graduation have been one of the tangible results of such learning. I hope that young people will also experience the real pleasure of coming into contact with multiple cultures. Learn actively.
profile
Born in Boston, USA in 1973. By chance, he picked up Naomi Uemura's book "Seishun wo Yama ni Betto" (Betting Your Youth on a Mountain) and was impressed by it.

After entering Faculty of International Relations at Asia University, he managed to raise the necessary funds for mountaineering on his own.

After graduating, he actively engages in various fields, including efforts to solve the problem of garbage on Everest, Takeshi Noguchi Environmental School, and cleanup activities on Mt. Fuji.

Global environmental theory learned through experience

Experience the various aspects of environmental change and cultural transformation based on the fact that serious changes in the global environment and modern lifestyles are affecting local environments, and major changes are occurring in culture, ecosystems, and biodiversity. This course includes Practicum to consider desirable social responses.

The program begins with on-site experience of environmental changes and ultimately includes the establishment of environmental education as a social response measure and the formulation of environmental policies.

The class consists of an overview of global environmental issues (lecture) and Mt. Fuji cleanup (practical). Through classroom lectures, participants will learn what global environmental problems are, and by practicing Mt. Fuji cleanup, they will be able to see and understand the reality of environmental problems with their own eyes, and be able to think of ways to tackle them in their own way. We aim to
*Mr. Noguchi or Mt. Fuji cleaning related staff will be in charge of Mt. Fuji cleaning and related times. Professor OTSUKA Naoki Faculty of International Relations will be in charge of the rest.
