``School is a place to nurture human relationships'' Lessons taught in Practicum teaching
|STUDENT'S VOICE|
From the first year of elementary school to the fourth year of university, he devoted himself to soccer. I wanted to make the most of this experience and teach in high school club activities, so I enrolled in a teacher training course. When I went to high school for teaching Practicum, I struggled with the sense of distance from the students. Some students are close in age and feel free to talk to me, while others find it difficult to discuss their concerns on their own. What was useful at that time was the experience of learning practically how to deal with problems such as refusal to go to school and bullying in a class called [Students / career options Guidance Theory] that I had taken before Practicum. I believe that school is not only a place to learn how to study, but also a place to nurture human relationships. I was conscious of this in my teaching Practicum, and focused on facing each other with an appropriate sense of distance.
After graduating from university, I want to focus on coaching and educating my favorite Soccer Club at Kaishin High School, my alma mater.
