Eligibility

A person who has foreign nationality and meets any of the following conditions:
*In addition, all of the following (Note 1) to (Note 3) conditions must be met.
(1) Those who have completed 12 years of school education in a foreign country other than Japan, or those who are expected to complete by March 31, 2024.
(2) Persons equivalent to 1, who have passed an academic certification examination equivalent to completing a 12-year course abroad, or who are expected to pass by March 31, 2024 Those who reach the age of 18 by March 31, 2020
(3) Persons equivalent to 1 who have completed a school curriculum corresponding to high school in a foreign country, completed a preparatory education curriculum (or a training facility course) designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, and those who have completed Reiwa 6 (2024 ) expected to complete by March 31, 2020
(4) Persons who meet 1 above and have completed or are expected to complete by March 31, 2024, a foreign school equivalent to a high school designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan.
(5) Those who have obtained an International Baccalaureate, Abitur, Baccalaureate, or GCEA qualifications, or those who are expected to obtain such qualifications by March 31, 2024
*Excludes those who have passed the High School Graduation Qualification Test administered by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan.
 
(Note 1) Within the 12-year course of school education, the total period of enrollment in a Japanese elementary or secondary school is within 2 years, and the high school graduated from a school other than Japan. matter
(Note 2) Never been enrolled in a university or junior college in Japan (excluding Part-time Students, auditing classes, and special courses)
