National pension insurance premium student payment special system

In principle, those over 20 years of age are required to pay national pension insurance premiums every month, but students who fall below a certain income standard may be able to apply for a deferral of insurance premium payments while enrolled in school. There is a special payment system for students.

To apply, please attach your student ID (copy) to the Student Payment Special Application Form and submit it to the National Pension Office at the pension office or the municipal office where you are registered as a resident.

Please note that Asia University does not provide "proxy administration" services, so applications cannot be made at this university. For more information on application, please refer to the Japan Pension Service website below.
