Asia University research Data Policy

Asia University University accumulates the results of its research activities, and in order to further the development of academic research and return these results to society, has established the following principles for the management, disclosure, and utilization of research data obtained in the course of academic research.

1. Definition of research data

The research data covered by this policy refers to data collected or generated by research in the course of research activities at Asia University, regardless of whether it is digital or not.

2. Management of research data, etc.

The method of managing research data and making it public and available for utilization may be determined by research who collected or generated the data, within the scope of laws, regulations, Asia University University rules and other equivalents, and within the scope that does not infringe on the rights and legal interests of others.

3. Responsibilities of research

Within the scope set out in the preceding paragraph, research will manage research data appropriately, make it public to the extent possible, and make it available for use.

4. Responsibilities of the University

Asia University University will provide research with an environment that supports the management, disclosure, and utilization of research data.

5. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed as appropriate in response to changes in society and the academic environment.
