Asia University Open Access Policy

1. Purpose

Asia University University has established the Asia University Open Access Policy in order to make the results of academic research produced through research activities at the university available to society at large.

2. Publication of research results

Asia University University will make available to the public, as far as possible, research results of research enrolled at the university that have been published in academic journals and bulletins issued by publishers, research societies, faculties and research of the university, through the university's academic repository or other methods selected by research, so that anyone can access them without barriers. However, the copyright of research results will not be transferred to the university.

3. Non-retroactive application

This policy does not apply to research results published before the enforcement of this policy, or to research results for which a contract that contradicts this policy was concluded before the enforcement of this policy.

4. Exemptions

If research or the University determines that the publication of research results may be inappropriate due to copyright or other reasons, the research results will not be published.

5. Other

In addition to what is set out in this policy, any matters necessary for open access will be determined separately through discussion between the parties involved.
