After completing preliminary training at Asia University, participants will participate in a 5-day "International Cooperation Practical Course (Beginner Edition)" at JICA Tsukuba. Through participatory classes taught by JICA staff, former Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, and consultants who are on the ground, this is an opportunity for you to learn first-hand about the actual situation of international cooperation projects, which you would not normally have access to. After taking Course, we have produced graduates who have gone on to work at major global companies and cosmetics companies expanding overseas.

America has great influence as a central figure in the international community. We will examine the characteristics and problems of its domestic politics and foreign policy. In addition, we will explore the gap between American political ideology and real politics, including the latest current news such as Black Lives Matter, the new coronavirus, and the conflict between the United States and China.

In order for a multinational company to establish a competitive edge in the global market, it is necessary to search for needs in each region with different cultures and income levels, create products and values that meet those needs, and provide them at reasonable prices. We will take up various companies and learn about the development of their marketing ideas and strategies.

In the first half of the class period, students will understand the significance of studying international politics and the underlying theories, and will trace the flow of international politics over time. In the second half of the class period, major issues surrounding international politics will be taken up and comprehensively examined. Throughout the class, we will confirm how closely studying international politics and understanding world affairs are connected.

This course consists of preparatory classes and an overseas internship during summer vacation. The content of internships varies depending on the individual student and company, but work will be assigned that is appropriate for the student's department/major. In preparation for this Practicum, we will conduct classes in advance to help you acquire the following skills.
1. Understand your own abilities and qualities to participate in society
2. Acquire essential skills to work in a company
3. Learn about the local situation where you will conduct your internship

Learn how to give logical explanations in English and write in English. You will learn various English essay formats and purpose-based structures, learn research methods necessary for writing essays through various tasks and assignments, and acquire highly specialized English skills through repeated writing practice. .
