Cultivate English proficiency while deepening expertise,
Challenging combination learning
To study international relations and succeed in this field, advanced English proficiency is required. You can deepen your expertise through specialized subjects offered in the three areas of study, while simultaneously building up your English skills by taking English-language courses.

Acquire the basic knowledge of learning
Starting in the fall semester, we will select approximately 20 students who aspire to become English experts. The program will focus on strengthening reading and writing skills in English while developing the fundamental English proficiency necessary to study international relations in English.

Step up with specialized subjects and study abroad
In the spring semester, in order to improve their English skills before studying abroad, students will continue to improve their reading and writing skills in English, as well as acquire presentation skills in English. During the fall semester, students participate in a variety of study abroad programs, including a five-month study abroad program in the United States (AUAP).In addition to improving their English skills, it is also important to experience different cultures.

further expertise
After returning from studying abroad, students will maintain their English proficiency through further specialized courses, learning presentation and discussion skills, essay writing methods, and more in small-group seminars. They will also study three specialized fields in English. In addition, by taking Global Issues I and II, which cover specific themes in English, students will be able to present and discuss more advanced international relations issues in English.

GLEE Completion Certification
Students who earn 18 or more Credit from GLEE courses will be certified as English Experts and will receive a certificate at the graduation ceremony.
