Eligibility

A person who satisfies any of the following conditions:

[Second year]

Those who have been enrolled in a Japanese university for at least one year and have acquired 31 Credit more credits of the required Credit for graduation from that university, or are expected to acquire such credits by March 2026

[Third year]

(1) Applicants who have been enrolled in a Japanese university for two years or more and have acquired or are expected to acquire 62 or more Credit of the required Credit for graduation by the university in March 2026
(2) Those who have graduated from a Japanese junior college or a Japanese college of technology by March 2026
(3) Those who have completed or are scheduled to complete a specialized course at a Japanese vocational school by March 2026 (limited to those who have Entrance Requirements a university) (limited to those who have completed a specialized course at a Japanese vocational school with a duration of two years or more and a total of 1,700 hours or more of class time or 62 Credit or more).
(4) Those who have completed a specialized course at a Japanese high school (limited to those with a course period of two years or more and other standards set by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) or are scheduled to complete such course by March 2026 (limited to those who have Entrance Requirements a university).
