General entrance examination (by subject)

• This is an entrance exam that is conducted independently by each department at our university. There are two subject types, three subject types, and three subject types (best 2).
• The two-subject type (English, Mathematics (Mathematics I, Mathematics II, Mathematics A, Mathematics B (Sequences), Mathematics C (Vectors))) is only offered by the Department Department of Data Science, Faculty of Business Administration. Please note that you cannot apply for both the two-subject type and the three-subject type.
• The three-subject type (English, Japanese (excluding classical Japanese and classical Chinese), and Elective Subject) will be implemented in all faculties and departments. In addition, the Department of Department of Data Science Faculty of Business Administration will take the exam in English, Japanese (excluding classical Japanese and classical Chinese), and Mathematics (Mathematics I, Mathematics A)).
• The three-subject type (best two) (English, Japanese (excluding classical Japanese and classical Chinese), and Elective Subject) will be offered in Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law, Faculty of International Relations, and Faculty of Sociology.
• [3-subject type] and [3-subject type (best 2)] can be applied for in the same department (except for Faculty of Business Administration).(Discounts for multiple applicationsavailable)

Eligibility

Those who meet any of the following conditions:
(1) Those who have graduated from high school or secondary school, or are scheduled to graduate by March 2025
(2) Those who have completed 12 years of regular school education or are scheduled to complete it by March 2025
(3) Those who are deemed to have academic ability equal to or greater than that of high school graduates pursuant to Article 150 of the Enforcement Regulations of the School Education Act, and those who are expected to meet this criteria by March 2025.
