Key points for the 2027 entrance examination

Addition of departments offering "Public Recommendation Entrance Examinations"

Starting with the 2027 entrance examination, this will be newly implemented in Faculty of Business Administration Administration. (Number of students to be admitted: 10)

Changes to application requirements for Department of Data Science 's "Public Recommendation Entrance Examination"

Starting with the 2027 entrance examination, the application requirements for Department of Data Science Faculty of Business Administration will be standardized to the same as other faculties: "Overall academic performance on the academic transcript must be 3.2 or higher."​

Partial changes to the selection method for the "Hospitality AO Entrance Examination"

In place of the comprehension test previously administered in the first round of selection, we will now be conducting a "Reading Skills Test (a PC-based measurement and diagnosis of reading comprehension)."​
(There are no changes to the first stage of selection (document review), the second stage (group discussion), or the group interview.)

Regarding "University Entrance Common Test-Based Admissions"

○ A new "emphasis on strong subjects" type of entrance examination will be implemented in the later admission period. (Excluding Faculty of Health and Sport Science)

[Expansion of discounts on entrance examination fees]
○Starting with the 2027 entrance examination, it will be possible to apply to up to three different schools with the same application fee.
(Starting with the 2027 entrance exams)"Up to 3 applications: 14,000 yen+ (number of applications × 10,000 yen)" 
(Until the 2026 entrance exam) "14,000 yen + (number of applications × 10,000 yen) for up to two concurrent applications"

Review of the English external examination standards for the "University-wide Unified Entrance Examination (Early, Mid, and Late Periods)" and the "General Entrance Examination (Department-specific: DS Late Period)".

While we previously used a uniform 80-point equivalent score for all external English proficiency tests, we have changed our approach to better reflect students' achievements in the evaluation process.
We will introduce new categories, "90 points" and "100 points," to expand the range of applications.

*1...The Hospitality Management Department of Faculty of Business Administration is converted to double the amount.
*2...Must have taken the Level 2 or higher exam.
*3...Must have taken a PET level or higher test.
 
• Eligibility period: Limited to those who took the exam on or after April 2025.
• Required documents: Only official scores that can be submitted within the application period will be accepted.
Only certificates that include scores for all four English language skills (Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking) on a single document will be considered valid.
