Routine test

  1. Based on the academic schedule, it will be held twice a year at the end of the spring and fall semesters.
  2. The regular exam timetable will be announced in the Cabinet of the PC version of the Asia-University Portal two weeks before the start of the exam. In addition, any changes after the announcement will be announced in the "Cabinet" of the PC version of the "Asia Portal", so please check from time to time.
  3. For more information on exam rules, please check Asia University Examination Regulations and Asia University Student Disciplinary Regulations.

Please note that regular exam times are different from class times.

eligibility

Students who fall under any of the following conditions cannot take regular examinations.
  1. Those who have not registered for courses
  2. Those who have not attended more than two-thirds of the class days without justifiable reason
  3. Those who have not paid school fees
  4. Those who cannot present their student ID card
  5. Subjects who have exceeded 20 minutes after the start of the test
  6. Those whose enrollment status is not normal, such as being suspended, taking a leave of absence, or studying abroad
  7. Those who are not permitted to take the exam by the instructor in charge of the subject

Show student ID

As a general rule, those taking the test must present their student ID card on the desk. If you forget your student ID, please issue a temporary student ID at the "Certificate Issuance Machine" located on the 1st floor of Building 1, 1st floor of Building 2, or the 1st floor Kozo Ota Memorial Hall.
 
Please note that up to two temporary student ID cards can be issued from the certificate issuing machine during each semester. Valid only on the date of issue. Be careful not to forget your student ID card when taking the exam.

Entering, being late, leaving

  1. Entry into the testing room is allowed up to 20 minutes after the start of the exam.
  2. Please follow the supervisor's instructions when leaving the examination room.

answer

  1. Be sure to use a black ballpoint pen when writing your student ID number, grade, and name on the answer sheet.
    (However, the mark sheet is a pencil)
  2. Please submit your answer sheet in person at the designated location, such as a teacher's desk or podium.
  3. As a general rule, you will not be allowed to rewrite the answer sheet. Due to the nature of the subject, the second sheet will not be distributed unless there are two or more answers.
  4. You are not allowed to take your answers out of the examination room unless instructed by the supervisor.
  5. Even if you cannot answer the questions (blank paper), be sure to write down your student ID number, grade, and name and submit it.

cheating

The University will take strict disciplinary action against misconduct. In order to demonstrate the results of your daily studies, please take the exam fair and square, and never cheat.
 
In addition, the following items are prohibited by the university during examinations, and any violation of these items will be considered misconduct.

  • Use of unauthorized information and communications equipment, etc.
  • Acts that do not follow the instructions of the supervisor
  • Other acts that are deemed to hinder the conduct of fair testing.

make-up exam

What is make-up exam?

If you are unable to take the final exam due to unavoidable reasons (limited to subjects listed in the regular exam timetable), you can apply for a make-up exam.

Make-up exam application

If you wish to apply for a make-up exam, please prepare documents proving the reason for your absence and apply for the make-up exam by 12:00 on the next administrative day after the last day of the regular exam period. (If the test is conducted on a day, the deadline is 12:00 on the next business day).

Precautions regarding make-up examination application

The unavoidable reasons for applying for make-up examinations and the required documents are shown in the table below. Please note that, as a general rule, non-attendance for examinations for other reasons will not be considered for make-up examinations.

  • For information on how to conduct supplementary exams (including whether to conduct them), the Academic Center will contact the instructor in charge of the subject, and the results will be announced on the Asia University Portal.
  • If you miss the make-up exam without notice, we may not be able to accept future applications. Please be sure to attend and take the exam.
  • Please note that examinations for subjects conducted outside the regular examination period are not eligible for make-up examinations.
  • If you are absent from an exam for a subject held outside the regular exam period, please present a certificate showing the reason for your absence directly to the instructor in charge of the subject and follow the instructions.

make-up exam

  • Make-up exams will be held within one month from the last day of the regular exam period.
  • Make-up exams will be conducted in accordance with regular exams.

Missed make-up exam

Students who do not attend the make-up examination will not be allowed to take the make-up examination again for any reason.
