As a response to disasters and injuries sustained by students during their educational research activities, we offer "Student Education research Disaster and Accident Insurance" for students who are regularly enrolled at our university (undergraduate and Graduate School) and International Student (Intensive Japanese Course, exchange students, and Sponsored Student). ” at university.

  3. 1.2. above and while on campus other than extracurricular activities
  4. Injury caused by an accident during extracurricular activities (however, notification is required for off-campus activities)
 
The coverage period is from April 1st of the year of enrollment to March 31st of the year of graduation.
 
At our university, special contracts (special contract for injury risk coverage during commuting and special contract for insurance payment for contact infection prevention) cannot be taken out individually.
 
When it comes to various accidents, it goes without saying that you should always be careful and take measures to prevent them from occurring, and in the unlikely event that you suffer an injury that is covered by insurance, you will be covered for one month. Please report it to Student Center (1st floor, Building 2) within the deadline.

1. When insurance claims are paid

When you suffer a physical injury due to a sudden and accidental external accident during educational research activities.

2. Type of insurance money

(1) Death benefits
(2) Residual injury insurance
(3) Medical insurance benefits (when receiving medical treatment from a doctor)
(4) Additional fee for hospitalization

3. When insurance claims are not paid

(1) Injury caused intentionally, by fighting, etc.
(2) Neck syndrome (so-called “whiplash”, etc.)
(3) Accidental injury caused by dangerous exercise (bobsledding, skydiving, etc.)
(4) When medical insurance does not cover the actual number of days of treatment (Less than 14 days during extracurricular activities, etc.)

4. Administrative procedures after the occurrence of an accident

Please report the injury to Student Center (1st floor, Building 2) within one month after the accident and fill out an "Accident Notification Postcard." Please keep all receipts during your treatment and return to Student Center when your treatment is complete.
