Application by mail
Certificates cannot be issued or sent during the following period due to annual renewal (maintenance).
Current students cannot use the certificate issuing machines on campus.

Certificates received after 4:00 PM on Monday, March 23rd will be issued, mailed, and available for pickup from Tuesday, April 1st onwards.

About applying for a certificate by mail
Please enclose the following four items and send them to us.After the mail arrives, it will be shipped (posted) within the second business day (excluding cases where the office is closed).
Please note that we do not accept applications by fax or e-mail.
1. A completed application form
- Form for graduates, graduates, and expatriates
- Current Student Form
- Form for teacher training course
*If you are applying for Faculty license, please fill in the type of school/subject you plan to apply for, applicable laws and ordinances, and the teacher's license you obtained before graduating from this university.
*Please use the forms for graduates, graduates, and disenrolled students to apply for certificates for librarian qualifications and social education director qualifications.
If you are unable to print, please prepare a form with the following required items (* indicates required items).
- Faculty Department *
- Student number
- Enrollment date/Graduation (completion) or withdrawal (leaving the register) date (only the year is acceptable if the date is unknown)
If you are currently enrolled, please let us know your academic year. - family name *
- For Japanese certificates, please let us know the pronunciation, and for English certificates, please let us know the romaji notation.
It will be issued in the name you used when you were in school. It cannot be issued with a changed surname. - date of birth *
- Type of certificate to apply for and number of copies issued *
Graduation certificates written in Japanese usually do not include the date of admission. If you need it for pension procedures, etc., please let us know. - Sealed or not
Certificates written in Japanese will not be sealed in principle. Please let us know if you need it. In principle, all English certificates must be sealed, but if you do not need them, please let us know. - Use of certificate *

2. Copy of identity verification document
Please take a copy of your driver's license, health insurance card, passport, or other identification document (the part where your name and date of birth are written).*Please make a copy of only the front side of the My Number Card (the side where your photo is displayed). Copying the back side (in which your personal number is written) is prohibited by law.
*If the identification document is to be used as a health insurance card, please mask the symbol, number, and insurer number.
3. Certificate fee
Please prepare it using one of the following methods.*Any amount exceeding the handling fee will not be refunded.
*Please note that we cannot issue receipts for certificates submitted by mail.
● Postal money order (Japan Post Bank) *Must be within the validity period (6 months from the date of issue)
These can be purchased at Japan Post Bank. There are 12 denominations available: 50 yen, 100 yen, 150 yen, 200 yen, 250 yen, 300 yen, 350 yen, 400 yen, 450 yen, 500 yen, 750 yen, and 1000 yen. Please prepare the appropriate amount for the transaction fee. Please note that a separate fee of 100 yen per coin will be charged at the time of purchase, regardless of the denomination.
Also, please enclose the postal money order certificate without filling in any information, keeping the "Postal Money Order Certificate" and the "Postal Money Order Payment Slip" attached together.

4. return envelope
● By mail (domestic and international)Please prepare envelopes according to the number of copies you wish to issue and affix postage stamps for the return shipping fee.
