Notice regarding the implementation of regular student health checkups for the 2026 academic year
In accordance with the School Health and Safety Act, regular health checkups for the 2026 academic year will be conducted for all students (excluding Auditing (Auditor) Student).The purpose of regular health checkups is to understand your health condition, detect illness early, and prevent it. Please be sure to undergo a health checkup once a year to manage your own health.
● Health checkup schedules and medical interviews will be conducted online.
The health examination contracting company will notify you of your individual health examination schedule, login information, and how to enter the web service via your Aichi University Portal (Gmail).

New students: April 7th (Tuesday)

Please complete your response after receiving the email notification and before the examination date.
If you are unable to make the appointment at the specified date and time, you can reschedule your appointment via the reservation website listed in the notification email.

*Women should bring a cardigan or other protective gear to wear when going between the changing room and the inspection vehicle.
Five. Requests on the day of your consultation
・Reception dates and times are assigned by grade, department, and gender. Please adhere to the designated reception hours.・Please manage your valuables by yourself. The university is not responsible for any troubles.
・Please follow the instructions of the staff inside the health examination venue.
・If you require special consideration when visiting the clinic, please notify Health Services Office in advance.
6. After the health check
<Regarding re-examination>If any abnormalities are found during this health check, you will be asked to undergo a re-examination.
・Students who will be undergoing a re-examination will be notified by Health Services Office via Aichi University Portal (Gmail) or by mail around the end of April.
In urgent cases, we may call you directly, so if you are contacted, please follow the instructions promptly.
・ If you do not take the re-examination, the issuance of your health certificate will be suspended. Please note that your club activities may also be restricted.
<About the health checkup results>
・The data will be available for viewing on the Asia University Portal from Monday, May 25th.
・If you have any questions about the results or would like to receive a health consultation, please contact Health Services Office.
<Regarding the issuance of health examination certificates>
・Certificates will be issued to students who have undergone the health checkup starting Monday, May 25th. If you need one, please obtain one at the automated certificate issuing machine (300 yen per certificate).
Please note that if you leave any items that have not been examined or that need to be re-examined, the certificate will not be issued.
Also, if there are any matters to be confirmed at Health Services Office it may not be possible to issue the certificate immediately.
7. Q&A regarding health checkup
Q&A about health checkupsQ1. Is it mandatory to undergo a health checkup?
A1. Health checkups are conducted in accordance with the School Health and Safety Act. All students are required to take these checkups in order to check their own health status and to protect those around them from the perspective of infectious disease prevention.
Q2. I have had a health checkup off-campus, but do I no longer need to have one? Also, what are the procedures if I had it done at a medical institution?
A2. If you have had or are planning to have a health checkup off-campus after April 1st of this year, you do not need to take this health checkup. Please make sure that you have met the university's health checkup items (chest X-ray, height, weight, vision) and submit a copy of the results to Health Services Office. This will be treated as a substitute for a regular health checkup.
Q3. Can I have my health certificate mailed to me?
A3. Certificates can also be sent by mail. For details, please refer to the university's official website, "Certificate Issuance Procedures."

8. Health Examination Certificates for 2025
The issuance of health examination certificates for the fiscal year 2025 will end on Wednesday, March 25th, and they will no longer be issued after April when the fiscal year changes.*Health certificates will not be issued during the period from Thursday, March 26th to Sunday, May 24th.
If you need a health certificate before the start of issuance for the new fiscal year, please obtain the previous year's health certificate by the deadline.
