Abstract of the lecture | During the past three years of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people may have felt that their physical strength has declined and that their connections with others have decreased. Inactivity, along with smoking and high blood pressure, is said to be one of the three major risk factors for death from diseases other than infectious diseases, so exercise is essential for maintaining and improving health. This year, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare revised its physical activity and exercise guidelines for health promotion for the first time in 10 years. In this lecture, we will once again review the benefits of exercise and introduce ideas for continuing to include exercise in your daily life. Furthermore, we will consider the possibility that connections with people through exercise can promote social interaction. |
remarks | Students, faculty and staff of the university can attend only at the university venue, so those who wish to attend can go directly to the venue. |
