Eligibility

Internal recommendation test

1. Applicants must be enrolled in the master's program at the Graduate Graduate School of Asian and International Strategic research, Asia University, and are expected to complete their studies in March 2025.
2. Before applying, consult with the person in charge of Seminar at the desired research school about research field.

General Examination

A person who falls under any of the following or who is expected to fall under any of the following by the end of March 2025

1. Those who have a master's degree or professional degree
2. A person who has been awarded a degree equivalent to a master's degree or a professional degree in a foreign country
3. A person who has taken a distance Subject offered by a foreign school in Japan and has been awarded a master's degree or a degree equivalent to a professional degree.
4. In Japan, an educational facility positioned in the school education system of a foreign country as having a foreign Graduate School course, and having completed the course separately designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and obtaining a master's degree or professional degree Those who have been awarded a degree equivalent to
5. Those who have completed a course at the United Nations University and have been conferred a degree equivalent to a master's degree
6. A person designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Notification No. 118 of the Ministry of Education, 1989)
   Those who fall under any of the following i to iii, have engaged in research at a university, research, etc. for two years or more after graduation or completion, and have a master's degree at the relevant research school based on the results of the relevant research A person recognized as having academic ability equal to or higher than that of
   ⅰ.Those who have graduated from university
   ii .Those who have completed 16 years of school education in a foreign country.
   ⅲ.Those who have completed a 16-year course of school education in a foreign country by taking correspondence Subject offered by a foreign school in Japan.
7. Those who have reached the age of 24 and who have been recognized by the relevant research school committee as having academic ability equal to or higher than that in 1.

Overseas selection test

Applicants must not be permanent residents of Japan and fall under any of the following (1) to (5), or are expected to fall under any of these categories by the end of March 2025. In addition, applicants must have consulted with the professor in charge of their desired Seminar at this research school regarding research field before applying.

1. Those who have a master's degree or professional degree
2. Those who have been awarded a degree equivalent to a master's degree or a professional degree outside of Japan
3. Those who have taken correspondence Subject in Japan provided by schools outside Japan and have been awarded a master's degree or a degree equivalent to a professional degree.
4. In Japan, an educational facility positioned in the school education system of a foreign country as having a foreign Graduate School course, and having completed the course designated separately by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and obtaining a master's degree or a professional position A person who has been awarded a degree equivalent to a degree
5. Those who have completed a course at the United Nations University and have been conferred a degree equivalent to a master's degree
