Eligibility

Internal recommendation test

Candidates taking the internal recommendation examination must meet all of the following requirements 1 to 3.
  1. Applicants must be enrolled in the fourth year Asia University and be expected to graduate.
  2. At the end of the 3rd year or the end of the spring semester of the 4th year, the university standard points must be 2.50 points or more.
  3. Students must have had an interview with their desired supervisor before applying.
    If an applicant is not from Faculty of Law, the application will be accepted only if the desired supervisor judges the applicant to have basic knowledge of law and is worthy of recommendation during an interview before the application. If applying, the applicant will be asked to submit a letter of recommendation as part of the application documents.
【Notes】
  • Applicants who do not study Faculty of Law are expected to acquire preliminary knowledge of law before entering the university.
  • Transfer students cannot take the internal recommendation entrance examination.
  • In principle, those who have been enrolled for more than the standard term of study (repeating students) are not eligible to apply. However, if you are enrolled for more than the standard term of study for active reasons such as studying abroad, you may be eligible for application, so be sure to notify Admissions Center before applying.

General Examination (A/B method)

Those who have Japanese nationality or those who have graduated from a Japanese university and have a nationality other than Japan who fall under any of the following or are expected to fall under any of the following by the end of March 2025.

  1. university graduates
  2. Those who have been awarded a Bachelor of Arts 's degree by the National Institution for Academic Degrees and Support for University Reform
  3. Those who have completed a 16-year course in foreign school education
  4. A person who has completed 16 years of school education in a foreign country by taking correspondence Subject offered by the foreign school in Japan.
  5. In Japan, education positioned in the foreign school education system as having a foreign university course (limited to those whose graduates are said to have completed 16 years of school education in the foreign country) Those who have completed a course at a facility designated separately by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
  6. A person who has been awarded a degree equivalent to a Bachelor of Arts 's degree by completing a course of three years or more at a foreign university or other foreign school.
  7. A person who has completed a special course designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology on or after the date designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in a specialized course at a specialized training college (limited to those that meet the standards set by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and that the term of study is four years or more.)
  8. A person designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
  9. Those who have been enrolled in a university for 3 years or more, or have completed a 15-year course, and have been recognized by the relevant research school committee as having acquired the Credit credits with excellent grades.
  10. Those who have reached the age of 22 and who have been recognized by the relevant research school committee as having academic ability equal to or higher than that of university graduates through individual application eligibility screening.

Those who meet the application qualifications General Examination A and B and have passed the tax accountant examination in 3 or more subjects

Foreign International Student examination

A person who has a nationality other than Japan and falls under any of the following, or is expected to fall under any of the following by the end of March 2025.

  1. Those who have completed 16 years of school education in a foreign country
  2. A person who has completed 16 years of school education in a foreign country by taking correspondence Subject in Japan provided by the foreign school.
  3. In Japan, education positioned in the foreign school education system as having a foreign university course (limited to those whose graduates are said to have completed 16 years of school education in the foreign country) Those who have completed a course at a facility designated separately by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
  4. A person who has been awarded a degree equivalent to a Bachelor of Arts 's degree by completing a course of three years or more at a foreign university or other foreign school.

Examination for Working People

Applicants must have Japanese nationality or have graduated from a Japanese university and have a non-Japanese nationality, must meet the eligibility requirements for applying General Examination A and B, and have a total of 2 years or more of work experience (including housework).
【Notes】
The number of years of work experience must be entered in the work experience column of the application form, "Admission Application Form."
