Master's course

Requirement for Completion of the Graduate School

Applicants must be enrolled for at least two years, acquire at least 30 Credit in courses, and pass the examination and review of Master’s Thesis or research results on a specific topic (hereinafter referred to as "research report").

Elective Subject
① 10 or more Credit in "Core Subjects"
*All students are required to take "Advanced Topics in Artificial Intelligence I" in their first year.
② "Advanced Subjects" 8 Credit or more
③ "Global-related subjects": 4 Credit or more

If you earn more than 10 Credit in a "core subject," those credits can be counted towards "advanced subjects."
If you earn more than 4 Credit in "Global Studies related subjects," they can be counted towards "Advanced subjects."

doctoral course

*Second semester courses: 2 Credit (both spring and fall semesters)

Requirement for Completion of the Graduate School

Students must be enrolled for at least three years, earn at least 12 Credit of special research guidance from their main supervisor (hereinafter referred to as "supervisor"). From the third semester onwards, students must take thesis guidance courses from their co-supervisor, and pass the Doctoral Dissertation defense and examination.
Course registration
  1. Students must complete 2 Credit (each semester) of “Special research Guidance,” which is supervised by their academic advisor each year, for a total of 12 Credit.
  2. From the 3rd semester onwards, students must take “Dissertation Guidance” (no Credit) given by 2 sub-supervisors.
  3. Depending on research situation before enrollment, students may be instructed to attend lectures in the Lecture 's program.

Paper Evaluation Criteria

master's degreeMaster’s Thesis must be written based on the level of knowledge and ability expected of a master Graduate School of Asian and International Business Strategy, and must satisfy the following items.
  1. Appropriate research theme based on clear problem awareness.
  2. Must have sufficient knowledge of research theme.
  3. Appropriate research methods for research theme and compliance with research ethics must be planned and implemented.
  4. Consistent logical development without contradiction from problem setting to conclusion.
  5. Must be unique in the research area concerned.
  6. Consideration of basic ideas regarding business activities that contribute to the promotion of the spirit of Self-help and Cooperation among people in various Asian regions.
  7. Appropriate writing method of the thesis.
  8. Comply with the rules specified by research school.
* "Have sufficient knowledge of research theme" in Master’s Thesis means that you have adequately examined previous research, related information, laws and regulations, etc., and appropriately reflected them in your own thesis.
(research report evaluation criteria)
research report must be written based on the level of knowledge and ability expected of a master's degree student at Graduate School of Asian and International Business Strategy, and must satisfy the following items.
  1. It must be a valid research topic based on a clear problem awareness.
  2. Must have sufficient practical knowledge of research topic.
  3. research method that is appropriate for research topic and that complies with research ethics is planned and implemented.
  4. Consistent logical development without contradiction from problem setting to conclusion.
  5. Contribute to practical solutions to specific issues through reports.
  6. To consider the concept of business activities that contribute to the promotion of the spirit of Self-help and Cooperation among people in various Asian regions.
  7. The method of writing the report is appropriate.
  8. Comply with the rules specified by research school.
* In research report, "having sufficient practical knowledge of research topic" means having practical experience based on practical experience, internships, case studies, etc., for a specific topic, and It means that it is properly reflected in the book.
