Master's course

Requirement for Completion of the Graduate School: Enrollment for 2 years or more, acquisition of 32 Credit more credits, and passing Master’s Thesis review and examination.

1st year

April Course registration When registering new students, under the guidance of their academic advisor, they will create a master's course research plan and decide which courses to take.

November research report meeting At research report meeting, second-year master's course students and doctoral course students present their research. First-year students attend the seminar to use it as a reference for Master’s Thesis research.

2nd year

April Course registration In the course registration for the second year, under the guidance of the academic advisor, students plan the remaining period of the master's program and decide on the courses to be taken.
June Submission of master's thesis research plan As I will be completing my studies in March, I will be putting together a research plan for submitting Master’s Thesis.

July to September Summer vacation period From late July to late September

October Submission of research report presentation We will create a presentation resume for research report meeting to be held in November.
November research report meeting At research debriefing session, students report on their research to complete Master’s Thesis and receive guidance from faculty members.
Students aim to complete Master’s Thesis under the guidance of faculty members.

December to January Winter holiday period From late December to early January
complete Master’s Thesis.
January Submission of Master’s Thesis After classes resume, students will receive a final confirmation of Master’s Thesis from their supervisor and submit Master’s Thesis.
February Master's thesis exam An oral examination will be conducted based on Master’s Thesis.
Announcement of annual grades and degree holders We will announce the degree holders at the end of February.
March Graduation ceremony It will be held on March 15th.

Master's course long-term study system

Extension beyond the standard term of study for those who find it difficult to study within the normal term of study (standard term of study) at Graduate School school (first term of doctoral course) due to circumstances such as employment, childcare, or nursing care of relatives. A system that recognizes a curriculum for a period of time. It is possible to change the normal term of study (standard term of study) from 2 years to 3 years or 4 years. Tuition to be paid in one year is the amount obtained by dividing Tuition to be paid for the standard term of study (2 years) by the changed term of study (3 or 4 years).

(1) Applies to students enrolling in the spring semester of the master's program, and does not apply to international International Student (students with a status of residence of "Student").
(2) If you wish to apply for the long-term course system, please apply (submit the "long-term course application form") at the time of application.
(3) Applicants may apply for a shortening of the study period only once during their enrollment.
(4) Tuition and facility fees can be paid separately for the spring semester and the fall semester.
(5) The deadline for payment is at the time of enrollment procedures at the time of admission, and thereafter, the end of April for the spring semester and the end of October for the fall semester.

doctoral course

Requirement for Completion of the Graduate School: Enrollment for 3 years or more, acquisition of 16 Credit more credits, and passing Doctoral Dissertation review and examination. Doctoral Dissertation submission requirements: Satisfy the prescribed course requirements and expect to earn at least the prescribed Credit credits.
Below is the process for obtaining a doctoral degree in three years.

1st year

April entrance ceremony It will be held on April 3rd.

April Course registration At the time of course registration, students will make a research plan for the doctoral program under the guidance of their academic advisor.
Determination of sub-advisors One sub-supervisor will be appointed, and research guidance will be provided under a system of multiple supervisors.
June-July    
July to September Summer vacation period From late July to late September
September research paper publication application research papers publish research results of students in the form of papers.
November research report meeting At research report meeting, students present research. Students will report on their research and receive guidance from faculty members.
December Submission of manuscripts for publication in research papers The manuscript will be published in a research journal after being reviewed by faculty members.
December to January Winter holiday period From late December to early January

April Mid-term evaluation interview Based on the research progress report submitted in March, you will receive guidance on your future research plan from your academic advisor.

If you have submitted Doctoral Dissertation, you will not present it at research report meeting, but will report it at the doctoral dissertation presentation meeting in December.
