Selection test and target students

Exchange students are selected through an internal selection test. Only 2nd and 3rd year students of Asia University can apply for the selection test.
Candidates will be selected through a language test (written/spoken) and an interview test. However, if the destination is an English-speaking country, no internal language test will be conducted, and the TOEFL® or IELTS (New Zealand only) test score submitted at the time of application will be considered.

Study abroad period and training content
If you pass the selection test, you will go to your dispatch destination in the next fiscal year after completing the prescribed procedures.
The study abroad period is approximately one year, according to the academic calendar of the host university. After returning to Japan, as a general rule, students will return to the same grade as before studying abroad and continue their studies at this university.
The content of training during study abroad is English-speaking countries, and in the case of Kyung Hee University (Korea), specialized subjects are taken. In other regions, students study the language of the host country or study with local students, but depending on their language ability, they may be allowed to take specialized courses. In either case, advanced language skills are required to keep up with the classes.

Study abroad expenses
Students will be exempted from tuition fees at Asia University during study abroad and Tuition at host universities other than the University of Indonesia.
In addition, with the exception of Mateibel University and Boise State University, students living in student dormitories are exempted from the dormitory fee (*1), and scholarships are also provided by the university as living expenses.
However, travel expenses (expenses for application procedures such as visa acquisition, passports, etc.), round-trip travel expenses, overseas travel accident insurance premiums (required), and health insurance fees designated by the host country or host university (required) ), living expenses such as food, textbooks, facility fees and other miscellaneous expenses not included in Tuition, etc., must be paid by the student.
