Asia University Asia University Korea Program = AUKP Nickname: KoreaGood evening ( Anne ) Year ( Nyon ) The Korean Language Program was established to teach Korean language and culture to Korean language students, the number of whom is increasing. The program is the first of its kind in the mid-term study abroad program to be held in Korea, marking another step forward in diversifying study abroad destinations, following English and Chinese. Students will study at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, the capital of Korea, for approximately five months.
There are strong economic ties with neighboring South Korea, and companies from both countries are expanding into each other's countries to develop global businesses, and many tourists visit both countries, which leads to continued growth in related businesses, so it is expected that there will be many fields in which global talent can thrive in the future. Global talent who study in South Korea will have Korean language proficiency and be familiar with Korean culture, and will be able to demonstrate their abilities especially in South Korea-related businesses.

AUKP offers 400 hours of Korean language classes. You will study in a class according to your Korean level, so you can improve your Korean language skills efficiently. Students will take the Korea research Seminar, which aims to acquire the ability to conduct fieldwork on their own themes, research materials in Korean, and make presentations in Korean while taking elective classes in Korean culture while taking elective classes in Korean while making use of their Korean language skills, which will make them feel that they are growing every day. "Toumi System" - Tutoring system with Korean students

There is a "Toumi System" where Korean students attending Kyung Hee University volunteer to be tutors for international International Student in pairs or groups. This is a chance to practically learn Korean used by young Koreans, which is different from the Korean you learn in class. Although all of your classmates in Korean classes are International Student, you can expect to widen your network through meeting your tutor and have the opportunity to interact with many Korean students.
*Tutors are volunteers, so the number of tutors varies each time. We cannot guarantee that all International Student will be matched with a tutor.

By taking designated courses at the study abroad destination, students can earn 20 Credit. Credit earned are recognized as part of Asia University Requirement for Graduation, allowing students to graduate in four years without having to take a leave of absence.

Aims of AUKP

The purpose of AUKP is not just to learn a language. Based on the four objectives listed below, we will set specific "goals" at the pre-training session so that you can clarify why you are studying abroad and depart. After returning home, you can visualize the results of your study abroad by checking what and how you have been able to achieve the "goals" you set before you departed.

Self-discovery
