Group Visit from a Chinese Business College
On December 4, a group of approximately 20 members from Shinwa College visited Asia University to attend a special lecture delivered by Professor SangSoo Chang of the Faculty of Urban Innovation. Shinwa College is a business college located in Guangdong Province, China.
Professor Chang gave a lecture on the theme, “Management with a Focus on Culture and Values,” introducing a case study of Samsung Electronics Co. He elaborated on the theme saying, “Organizations require philosophy; Individuals require aspiration. It is important to have a value-creating culture and individuals with a strong personality.”
Afterward, the administrative staff of the International Student Services Division gave an overview of Asia University, which was followed by a campus tour during which the group visited facilities such as the Kozo Ota Memorial Hall.
