Seminar "Asia Watcher"

Organized by Institute for Asian Studies, it is held about three times a year.
Lecturer from inside and outside the university will give lectures on timely topics from changes in Asian society, language, culture, politics, economy, and social conditions.

Amid growing concerns about the slowdown of the Chinese economy, the ASEAN economy has achieved steady growth. Rather, the ASEAN economy is stepping into a new stage of development by deepening cooperation with China. In order to understand the current state of ASEAN, we have published a book entitled "A New Era for the ASEAN Economy: China's Increasing Influence." In this lecture, the author, an ASEAN expert, will explain and discuss the deepening China-ASEAN relationship from various perspectives.
