Internal Quality Assurance Policy

1. Basic Concept of Internal Quality Assurance

Under the leadership of President, the Internal Quality Assurance Evaluation Committee is responsible for promoting university-wide internal quality assurance. Under the Internal Quality Assurance Evaluation Committee, there is the Self-Inspection Committee, under which are the faculties, research schools, and other organizations.

(3) The Internal Quality Assurance Evaluation Committee evaluates internal quality assurance (improvement issues, correction recommendations) based on the self-inspection report submitted by the Self-inspection Committee, and presents the evaluation results as a self-inspection/evaluation report. In addition to announcing it inside and outside the university, we will set priority issues and reflect them in the next business plan.

Certification evaluation

Since 2004, a system has been introduced in which all national, public and private universities are subject to periodic evaluations by persons certified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. This is called an accreditation system. The purpose of accreditation and evaluation is to receive evaluation from society by the publication of evaluation results by accreditation bodies, and to encourage universities to improve themselves based on evaluation results.

Asia University was certified as conforming to university standards in 2019, following on from 2005 and 2012.
