Education research Promotion Fund

Request for cooperation in education research promotion funds

Since its founding in 1941, Asia Gakuen has pursued international exchanges with Asian countries and the United States based on the founding spirit of "the spirit of Self-help and Cooperation," and cultivated truly international people who can meet the expectations of the broader industrial world. We have been engaged in education and research activities with the mission of nurturing.

In 2016, Asia University medium- to long-term plan "Asia Future Roadmap 2025" was formulated, and based on the founding spirit, the mission is to "develop creative human resources who will challenge diverse dreams and leap into the future of Asia." We are working on it. In addition, the 3rd Five-Year Mid-Term Action Plan from FY2022 to FY2026 will focus on internationalization, education and research activities, learning environment and support, social cooperation, and university management. We will promote five priority action measures and strive to further improve the quality of education.

The school will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2021, and Asia University, which will be established, has now grown into a university with 5 faculties, 8 departments, 3 Graduate School research, and Intensive Japanese Course, with approximately 6,400 students. We are here.

In April 2023, Faculty of Business Administration Department of Data Science was newly established with the aim of developing human resources who can analyze and utilize large amounts of complex data in the era of IoT, IT, and AI development. opened.

In addition, regarding the study abroad program, which is one of the educational features of our university, we have launched an “online study abroad” and have continued to implement it even during the corona crisis. In addition, in the spring of 2022, we were among the first to resume actual study abroad in the United States. We will further promote study abroad and international exchange as an opportunity to cooperate with people with different values and customs and develop the ability to challenge one's own dreams.

In 2022, (Hardball) Baseball Club won the 71st All Japan University Baseball Championship for the first time in 20 years and won the championship for the fifth time.

sports promotion fund

Since its founding, the university has encouraged extracurricular activities as a place to put its founding spirit of "the spirit of Self-help and Cooperation" into practice. Currently, 30 organizations are members of the Athletic Association, and they are training and self-improvement every day. In particular, the activities of athletic clubs such as (Hardball) Baseball Club and Track and Field Club have increased the students' sense of belonging to the university and have been a driving force in fostering a positive school culture. This good school culture has been passed down to many alumni who are active all over the country, fostering bonds between alumni and contributing greatly to the activities of Alumni Association association, Seiseikai. In addition, I was deeply moved by the single-minded attitude of not only alumni, but also the students, and received warm support from many sports club fans.
 
As a university, we are working hard every day to reform and improve in order to continue to focus on supporting athletic clubs, but the environment surrounding the university is becoming more severe year by year, and the funds to support sports activities are not necessarily abundant. It is the actual situation.
 
We would like to ask for the support of all those concerned in order to further promote student sports and further enhance the good school culture of our university.

private foundation and company sponsered international student scholarship

As part of our support activities for international International Student enrolled at our university, we are soliciting donations for the "Asia private foundation and company sponsered international student scholarship" bearing the name of an individual or company. About 400 foreign International Student are currently studying, but many of them have a difficult life, and there are cases where they are forced to return to their home countries because of financial reasons. Our university also provides various kinds of living support such as its own scholarship system and Tuition exemption, but it is not always possible to respond to the actual situation.
 
Therefore, we would like to ask for your understanding and support for the purpose of this scholarship system, which aims to further enhance and develop support for International Student.

In 2022, we provided scholarships to 19 international International Student selected according to the wishes of the donors. This scholarship, which began in 1999, has provided financial support to a total of more than 550 International Student.

Second hand book donation

The "Asia Pacific Used Book Donation" is an initiative in which people who agree to donate books, CDs, and DVDs they no longer use are asked to send in the purchase amount, which will be donated to Asia University to support education and research.

Hinode Campus Redevelopment Project Donation

Hinode Campus redevelopment project fundraising has ended on March 31, 2023. We received a lot of donations and used them for the general maintenance of the Hinode Campus sports facilities, such as rebuilding the (Hardball) Baseball Club dormitory, training center, and rain gymnastics field.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the kindness you have shown us so far.
 
As a token of our gratitude to all the donors, we have installed a donor nameplate at the entrance of the ASIA SPORTS CENTER, so please come visit the Hinode Campus.
