Department of Law
Students will learn how to create a more equitable society and develop a "legal mind" that considers people's lives beyond the law.
Students choose from three courses aimed at becoming a lawyer, civil servant, or member of a company or organization, or one course focusing on political science, and plan their career paths.

In the first year, students study basic subjects such as constitutional law, civil law, and criminal law, and develop basic skills in law and political science. From the second year onwards, students are divided into four courses, and through systematic learning, specialized education is provided according to the aspirations of each student.

公務員試験にも対応する充実の科目群
We have established a course that provides intensive support to students aiming to become civil servants. Subjects corresponding to national and local civil servant exams are arranged, and students also receive practical learning at local government offices. In addition, numerical processing skills, which are frequently tested on civil servant exams, can be cultivated through [Basic Mathematical Science] and [Civil Service Basic Education].

In [Specialized Seminar I/II] and [Comprehensive Academic Seminar I/II], which cultivates the ability to conduct specialized research and analysis, students work on presentations, debates, and Bachelor’s Thesis thesis. Through group work, you can acquire communication skills.
