Constitution II (Overview/Governance Organization)

here is the point
Extensive use of images and illustrations to explain the governing mechanism theory in the constitution
Easy-to-understand lecture
Teacher in charge: HARUYAMA Shu
This is a class where you will learn about the governing structure (Parliament, Cabinet, Courts) in the Constitution. Behind the political and judicial movements that we casually see and hear on the news, there are certain rules established by the Constitution. In order to raise awareness and interest in this issue, we actively introduce actual news footage and examples. When talking about the Constitution, attention tends to be focused on the aspect of guaranteeing human rights, but it is politics and the judiciary that create a society where human rights are guaranteed in the first place. I believe that our society will be enriched by studying and applying the Constitution.

General Commercial Law/Commercial Practices Law

here is the point
Cultivate legal thinking through examination of judicial precedents and academic theories concerning the general provisions of commercial law and the law of commercial practices
Teacher in charge: SHIBUYA Mitsuyoshi
Since the Commercial Code is a special law of the Civil Code, which is a general form of private law, in class we explain the provisions, systems, and transaction structures of the Commercial Code in an easy-to-understand manner, comparing them with the provisions, systems, and transactions of the Civil Code. We conduct classes to help students understand the characteristics, significance, and role of commercial law as part of corporate law by comparing it with civil law and giving familiar examples.

Specialized Seminar I・II

here is the point
Based on the main issues of criminal law in general and criminal law in detail
Grasping and understanding theories and judicial precedents
Teacher in charge: YAMAMOTO Takako
The Supreme Court's precedents were considered for two weeks. As a group, we discussed what kinds of circumstances the Supreme Court emphasized, trends in decisions, and issues. In the fall semester, a mock trial is held as the culmination of the seminar. Based on a hypothetical case, lawyers, prosecutors, and judges will each present their arguments and draw conclusions in the seminar. I also experienced observing a trial at the Tokyo District Court. He attended the trial of a ``receiver'' for bank transfer fraud, and the fact that the ``receiver'' was the same age as the student led him to realize that there are people from various backgrounds in society, and that ``the world has nothing to do with me.'' Consciousness changes. It was a good opportunity to get a closer look at the law.

Political Science I・II

here is the point
Learn the basic systems and characteristics of "politics"
Teacher in charge: FUJIOKA Daisuke
In this class, we immediately give a quiz on what we have learned in that class. This is because I want you to make sure that you acquire what you have learned as knowledge. In terms of content, Political Science I deals with the ideas, systems, and elections of liberal democratic systems, while Political Science II deals with political parties and pressure groups, government work, bureaucracy, local autonomy, war and peace, the United Nations, and politics. It deals with history etc.

seminar
Utilizing the "listening ability" cultivated in seminars
I want to work in the medical industry

At the seminar, we had many activities to exchange opinions on controversial judicial precedents. The skill of coordinating opinions within the group and summarizing them briskly was honed, and was also highly evaluated during job hunting. I would like to work for a sales position at a medical device manufacturer. I would like to listen to the voices of medical professionals and take on the challenge of contributing to the future of patients as a result.
