We develop human resources who can use big data to consider cities and envision a vibrant and comfortable future city. A major feature is that it is essential to study abroad and work overseas after learning the local language of each Asian country in addition to English.

Features of Department of Urban Innovation

International city and study abroad
Students learn about the roles and challenges of overseas cities through work experience (compulsory). Students study abroad while learning the language of their host country along with English, and deepen their exchanges with the locals while getting closer to the reality of the city.

city and business
Understand the characteristics and issues of cities, and consider the creation of new businesses from a management perspective. You will also have a work experience and learn about creating attractive services and contents to increase vitality and comfort.

Students will learn how cities are created through the clashes of opinions of people with diverse standpoints, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and develop the ability to understand and consider the social factors behind the phenomena and mechanisms that occur in cities.
