Student Discount Certificate (School Student Passenger Fare Discount Certificate) can be used for regular classes, extracurricular activities, job hunting, homecoming, travel, etc.
The application method for the student discount certificate is as follows.

Acquisition method

1. Issuance by certificate issuing machine

A student ID card is required to issue a student discount certificate.
Please operate according to the screen reception of the certificate issuing machine (1st floor of Building No. 1, 1st floor of Building No. 2, 1st floor Kozo Ota Memorial Hall).
For information on using the certificate issuing machine, please refer to the university's official website"Issuing Certificates".

2. Issuing by mail

Please mail the following ① to ③ to Student Center. After the mail arrives, it will be shipped (posted) within two days after the administrative day (except when the office is closed). Please note that we do not accept applications by fax or e-mail.
 
①Student ID card copy
(2) Required number of student discount certificates, purpose of use (regular classes, extracurricular activities, job hunting, homecoming, travel, etc.), contact phone number, and a statement stating “I want a student discount certificate” (free format)
③Return envelope (Please write your name and address, and be sure to attach an 84-yen stamp)
 
*If a return envelope is not included or if an 84-yen stamp is not affixed to the return envelope, it will be returned by "cash on delivery" courier service. Please note that the "return envelope" is the envelope used to return the student discount card.

Student group discount

This system offers up to a 50% discount on fares (tickets) when used for group activities (8 or more students) such as extracurricular activities or seminars.
A seal from Director, Student Affairs Office is required to apply, so please obtain a form from the station office or travel agency and submit it to Student Center (1st floor, Building 2).
