Student Discount Certificate (School Student Passenger Fare Discount Certificate) can be used for regular classes, extracurricular activities, job hunting, homecoming, travel, etc.
The application method for the student discount certificate is as follows.

Acquisition method

1. Issuance by certificate issuing machine

A student ID card is required to issue a student discount certificate.
Please operate according to the screen reception of the certificate issuing machine (1st floor of Building No. 1, 1st floor of Building No. 2, 1st floor Kozo Ota Memorial Hall).
For information on using the certificate issuing machine, please refer to the university's official website"Issuing Certificates".

2. Issuing by mail

Please mail the following items ① to ③ to Student Center. After the mail arrives, it will be sent (posted) within two days of the next business day (excluding days when the mail falls on an office holiday). Please note that we do not accept faxes or e-mails.
 
① Copy of student ID
② A document clearly stating the number of student discount certificates required, the purpose of use (regular classes, extracurricular activities, job hunting, returning home, travel, etc.), contact phone number, and "Student discount certificate request" (free format)
③Return envelope (please write your name and return address, and be sure to affix a 110 yen stamp)
 
*If the return envelope is not included or if the return envelope does not have a 110 yen stamp affixed, the item will be returned by cash on delivery courier service. Please be aware of this in advance. (The "return envelope" is the envelope used to return the student discount certificate. Please write the address and name of the place you want it returned to on the envelope and affix a 110 yen stamp.)

Student group discount

This system offers up to a 50% discount on fares (tickets) when used for group activities (8 or more students) such as extracurricular activities or seminars.
A seal from Director, Student Affairs Office is required to apply, so please obtain a form from the station office or travel agency and submit it to Student Center (1st floor, Building 2).
