The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is developing a new educational program for those engaged in tourism-related businesses in collaboration with universities, etc., with the aim of improving the management skills of tourism-related businesses and revitalizing the tourism industry. We are implementing support projects such as:
Asia University was selected as a partner university in 2021, and through this three-year Course until 2023, tourism management students who have high planning, leadership, and communication skills in the field of food business will be able to think about regional tourism promotion strategies. We have been developing programs and teaching materials to develop human resources.

Theme for 2023 "Planning food tourism in Tokyo"

Strategy planning and high value-added products to materialize food tourism in Tokyo in order to develop human resources who will be responsible for the further development and growth of food tourism by disseminating Japanese food culture and food as entertainment. This is a practical Course for learning the knowledge necessary to realize a plan and acquiring planning skills through group work.
