Internal recommendation test

[For current students]
Applicants for the in-house recommendation examination must meet all of the following requirements 1 to 4.
Transfer students must meet all of the requirements in item 5.
  1. Applicants must be enrolled in the fourth year Asia University and be expected to graduate.
  2. Earn at least 110 Credit Credit Requirement for Graduation at the time of application.
  3. At the end of the 3rd year or the end of the spring semester of the 4th year, the university standard points must be 2.80 points or more.
  4. Please have an interview with the instructor in charge of the desired Seminar before applying.
  5. Transfer students must meet all of the following requirements ① to ④.
    1. Be a fourth-year student enrolled Asia University and expect to graduate.
    ② At the time of application, you must have completed 110 or more Credit.
    ③ At the end of the spring semester of the fourth year of the undergraduate program after transfer, the student’s university standard point average must be 3.20 points or higher.
    ④ You must have had an interview with the person in charge of Seminar course you wish to take before applying.
[For graduates]
Those who will take the internal recommendation test must meet all of the requirements 1 to 3 below.
If you are a transfer student, you must meet all requirements in 4.
  1. Those graduating in March 2024.
  2. At the time of graduation, the internal standard points must be 2.80 points or more.
  3. Please have an interview with the instructor in charge of the desired Seminar before applying.
  4. Transfer students must meet all of the requirements ① to ③ below.

② The internal standard points at the time of graduation Asia University must be 3.20 points or higher.
③Before applying, you must have had an interview with the instructor in charge of your desired Seminar.
【Notes】
  • If you are a transfer student, be sure to ask Admissions Center for instructions before applying.
  • In principle, those who have been enrolled for more than the standard term of study (repeating students) are not eligible to apply. However, if you are enrolled for more than the standard term of study for active reasons such as studying abroad, you may be eligible for application, so be sure to notify Admissions Center before applying.

General Examination

A person who falls under any of the following or who is expected to fall under any of the following by the end of March 2025
  1. university graduates
  2. Those who have been awarded a Bachelor of Arts 's degree by the National Institution for Academic Degrees and Support for University Reform
  3. Those who have completed a 16-year course in foreign school education
  4. A person who has completed 16 years of school education in a foreign country by taking correspondence Subject offered by the foreign school in Japan.
  5. In Japan, education positioned in the school education system of a foreign country as having a foreign university course (limited to those who have completed 16 years of school education in the foreign country) Those who have completed a course at a facility designated separately by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
  6. A person who has been awarded a degree equivalent to a Bachelor of Arts 's degree by completing a course of three years or more at a foreign university or other foreign school.
  7. A person who has completed a special course designated separately by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology on or after the date designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in a specialized course at a specialized training college (limited to those that meet the standards set by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and that the term of study is four years or more.)
  8. A person designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
  9. Those who have been enrolled in a university for 3 years or more, or have completed a 15-year course, and have been recognized by the relevant research school committee as having acquired the Credit credits with excellent grades.
  10. Those who have reached the age of 22 and have been recognized by the relevant research school committee as having academic ability equal to or higher than that of university graduates through individual screening of eligibility for application.

Those who fall under 9. must check the "Application Criteria for the Early Admission System" before applying.

Foreign International Student examination

Those who have a nationality other than Japanese (excluding those with a "permanent resident" status) and meet any of the application qualifications for General Examination or are expected to meet such qualifications by the end of March 2025.

Examination for Working People

Those who meet the application qualifications for General Examination and have at least 1.5 years of work experience at a company, etc. at the time of application

Overseas selection test

A person who does not permanently reside in Japan and falls under any of the following, or is expected to fall under any of the following by the end of March 2025.
  1. university graduates
  2. Those who have received a Bachelor of Arts 's degree from the National Institution for Academic Degrees and Support for University Reform
  3. Those who have completed 16 years of school education outside Japan
  4. Those who have been awarded an advanced diploma at a vocational school of four years or more designated separately by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
  5. Those designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Ministry of Education Notification No. 5, 1953)
