Academic Calendar
Students with an attendance rate of 80% or more and who score a total average of 60 points or higher on their regular exams may graduate.
If students pass the recommendation-based exams and their graduation from the Intensive Japanese Course is confirmed, they will be allowed to enroll at Asia University.

Early April | Orientation | General guidance on living in Japan will be shared. We will also provide information needed for navigating the Intensive Japanese Course. |
Placement tests | Japanese class placement tests will be conducted. | |

Health check | All of our university students can receive this health check for free. | |

Late May | Sports festival | Held on the 4th Sunday in May at the Hinode Campus. |
Late July | First round of regular exams | Exams covering the class content taught from April to July will be held. |

Summer vacation | Students will participate in the Asia University open campus day events held in August. |

Early October | Visit a nearby elementary school | Visits to nearby elementary schools are held as part of the Japan Affairs class. |
Mid October | Disaster prevention drills | Evacuation drills will be held on how to handle large-scale disasters. |
Early November | "ASIA-SAI" annual student festival | The university’s biggest event of the year. No classes are held on this day. |
November 4 | University anniversary | No classes are held this day. |
Late November | Second round of regular exams | Exams covering the class content taught from October to November will be held. |
Late November | Asia University enrollment information session | Information sessions on enrolling at Asia University will be held. |
Early December | Entrance exam for all Intensive Japanese Course students | All students wishing to enroll at Asia University will take these exams. |
Mid December | Submission of recommendation-based applications | Exam preparations will be made for those entering the university based on recommendations. |
Mid December | Tour of Tokyo | A tour of the Safety Learning Center is conducted as part of the Japan Affairs class. |

Late January | Third round of regular exams | Exams covering the class content taught from November to January will be held. |
Early February | Graduation statuses announced | Graduation eligibility is based on students’ attendance rates and the results from the third round of regular exams. If students pass the recommendation-based exams and are eligible to graduate, they will be allowed to enroll at Asia University. |
March 15 | graduation ceremony |
