Eligible students/participation conditions

Target student

Students who are first-year students in all faculties and departments and who meet all the participation requirements (because the study abroad period is in the second year)
*Students enrolled “ASIA YUME COLLEGE” cannot participate.
*Students enrolling in the Department of Hospitality Management from 2025 onwards are not eligible to participate.

Participation conditions

  1. Applicants must have a strong desire to study abroad and do not have any major problems (academic/learning attitude, course status, study abroad expenses, health condition, etc.) that would prevent them from being dispatched.
  2. Comply with the program rules and study abroad requirements, and attend all pre-departure training sessions.

*Students in the Department of Business Administration, Department of Hospitality Management, and Department of Data Science are also required to complete all required Required Subject (specialized courses and Subject Open to All students) offered in the spring semester of their first year in the spring semester. (Even if a course is offered for retake in the fall semester, students will not be allowed to participate if they are unable to complete the courses in the spring semester.)
*Students in the Department of Hospitality Management up to and including 2024 must first consult with their seminar instructor in advance and then notify International Center that they would like to participate in AUAP.
*Only students in Department of Urban Innovation who meet the conditions set by the faculty can apply. For details, please contact the Education Center.

Participation requirements for the English Intensive Course (ESL 4 Universities)

*This program is only available to students enrolled up until 2024, after which it will be suspended.

First selection (document screening): Check that you meet the following selection and dispatch criteria

① TOEIC® score of 400 or above *This may change depending on the TOEIC® implementation status on campus.
②Spring semester exchange (C1): Earn Credit for "English (F/E) I"
In the case of Fall semester study abroad (C2): Earn Credit for "English (F/E) I/II"
③Spring semester exchange (C1): Earn Credit for seminars offered in the spring semester of the first year in your department.
In the case of Fall Semester (C2): Earn Credit for seminars offered in the first year in your department

Second selection (interview) Group interview with faculty members from your department
