why malaysia?
AUASP is a program established to realize the mission set forth in the mid- to long-term plan of our university, which is to “cultivate human resources who will take on the challenge of pursuing diverse dreams and leap into the future of Asia.” Therefore, we decided to implement the program in Malaysia from the following four perspectives: (1) globalization, (2) multi-ethnic country, (3) English-speaking countries, and (4) living environment.1. The forefront of globalization
In recent years, companies from Japan and other countries around the world have expanded into Malaysia, expanding their business globally. By putting yourself in an environment where many Japanese people are active and attracting a lot of attention from the business world, you can feel the wave of globalization firsthand.2. Multiethnic country
Malaysia is a multi-ethnic country with ethnic groups such as Malays, Chinese and Indians (*1). By living in a multicultural country where people with different cultures and values live while protecting their respective cultures and traditions, they develop their ability to understand other cultures, recognize and accept their differences, and then develop their own abilities. You will acquire the adaptability to come up with new ideas.3. English-speaking countries
Malay, Chinese and Tamil are spoken in Malaysia, a multi-ethnic country, but English is used as a common language among ethnic groups. Classes at private universities are basically all conducted in English, and it can be said that this is a very suitable study abroad destination as an environment for learning English.4. living environment
Malaysia, ranked 18th in the world peace index ranking (*2), has many Japanophiles, and you can deepen your studies in a stable and safe environment. In addition to public safety, the climate and prices make it easy for Japanese people to live in, and it has been selected as the number one country for Japanese people wishing to stay for a long stay (*3) for 14 consecutive years, ahead of Hawaii and Oceania.
