Short-term study abroad during summer and spring vacations for the purpose of improving language skills and understanding different cultures.
A chance to spend a long vacation unlike ever before!
The Asia University University Global Program is a short-term study abroad program for three weeks to two months during the summer and spring vacations aimed at improving language skills and understanding different cultures.
You can participate regardless of your faculty or grade, and you can choose from 16 study abroad destinations according to your area and language of interest.

3 styles to suit your purpose

language intensive class

AUGP Language Intensive Class
Learn 9 languages including English, Korean, Chinese, Spanish and German intensively in classes that match your level of proficiency. Classes are shared with International Student from other countries*.
*India and Indonesia are special classes for Asia University students only.

AUGP Internship

A four-week work experience (internship) that allows you to experience various business sites such as hotels, travel agencies, cruise ships, trading companies, law firms, and event planning companies. You can put your language skills to the test and learn more practical foreign languages.
*The internship destination may change due to circumstances such as the host company.

service learning

This is a program to think about what a sustainable society is by conducting interviews with companies and organizations and actually participating in activities. We will deepen our thoughts on themes unique to the environmental city of Portland, such as "creating a livable city" and SDGs.

Since the Global Program conducts training during spring and summer vacations, students can participate in classes during the spring and fall semesters of the undergraduate school without any interruptions.
If our students achieve the required grades in the global program, 2 to 4 Credit will be awarded depending on the program they participate in.

You can participate regardless of your department or year.

All undergraduates are 1st to 4th year students, and students who are studying or have already completed the language of the host country can participate regardless of their undergraduate or academic year.
You can decide when to study abroad according to your four-year study plan, so you can participate in various ways according to your study abroad goals.

* In addition to the above, it is possible to assemble various study abroad plans according to your purpose.
*At AUGP, training sessions begin about three months before departure. Therefore, you will not be able to participate in the AUAP, AUASP, AUCP, or the spring or summer program immediately after returning to Faculty of Urban Innovation.

Study with local students and International Student from other countries

Students from English-speaking countries (Ireland, America, England, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Canada), China, Korea, Spain, Germany, France, and Russia will be able to join International Student from other countries in classes that match their language level. learn a language.
