BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Learning Area

Learning Commons ~BOTANICAFE~ (2nd floor Kozo Ota Memorial Hall (Library (Library Administration)))

A new cafe, "Cafe Commons ~BOTANICAFE~," has opened in the Learning Commons on the second floor of Kozo Ota Memorial Hall (Library (Library Administration)).
This is a special space that transcends the traditional Library (Library Administration) model, offering a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of a café where you can concentrate on your studies.

This is a creative learning hub where students can proactively learn and transform new ideas into reality through dialogue.
We also have facilities that allow you to practice presentations using a projector.

Knowledge Square ~MIRAI Labo~ (3rd floor Kozo Ota Memorial Hall (Library (Library Administration)))

Located on the 3rd floor of the Kozo Ota Memorial Hall Library (Library Administration) the newly opened "Knowledge Square ~MIRAI Labo~" is an active learning hub where diverse information and people meet, creating and disseminating new knowledge. Based on the vast amount of knowledge held by Library (Library Administration), please use it as a "plaza of knowledge" to deepen and expand your learning through dialogue with other users.

Book Lounge (4th floor Kozo Ota Memorial Hall (Library (Library Administration)))

A new "Book Lounge" has opened on the 4th floor Kozo Ota Memorial Hall (Library (Library Administration)).

While the second and third floors are ideal for active learning, the fourth floor is perfect for focused individual study. The chic space, furnished with dark brown furniture, features individual booths where you can concentrate on your studies without distractions. It's the perfect environment for deepening your knowledge alone and concentrating on reading or assignments.

This is a floor where you can do group work and prepare for presentations while having drinks and snacks.
Automatic rental of laptop computers from PC lockers (60 units), multifunction devices (charged), and scanners are available.

*During summer and spring holidays, hours are 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM on weekdays only.
 
*This facility is available to all faculty and students of this university. Please observe proper manners and morals and be considerate of those around you.
*Software installation is prohibited in principle. Please research how to use the software yourself, and save and manage your data at your own risk, such as on Google Drive.
*If you discover a malfunction or receive a virus warning, please contact the Information Systems Office immediately.

Building 7, 4th floor lounge

This floor can be used for short breaks or self-study. Automatic laptop rental is available via PC lockers (28 units). These laptops can also be used in BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) classrooms.

charging spot

This is a charging spot where you can charge the batteries of smartphones, tablets, etc.

This charging spot only has power outlets. If you would like to charge your smartphone, PC, etc., please bring your own charger.
 
The university will not bear any responsibility for any damage, theft, or loss of mobile phones or chargers at charging spots, so please be careful not to leave your mobile phone unattended while it is charging.
 
Please refrain from unplugging and leaving university computers or washlets in the toilets or charging mobile phones etc. in wall outlets in hallways or general classrooms in order to charge your mobile phone, as this is a nuisance that disrupts other users and classes.

training center

All students are eligible for both Musashino and Hinode campuses.
In order to use the facility, it is necessary to attend a lecture and issue a usage permit.
A dedicated trainer will give you guidance that suits you, so please take advantage of it.

class day

This will be held at the training center on days when the trainer is working.
Please contact Sports Promotion Center (Building 2, 1st floor) for dates and times.

Musashino: Monday to Friday 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM
Sunrise: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

usage period

The room will be open during the course period (spring and fall semesters), and cannot be used during class hours, regular examination days, holidays, public holidays, and long vacations.
Please note that the room may be closed or the time may be changed due to the circumstances of the university.

How to Use

Please present your "Training Center Usage Permit" (issued by Sports Promotion Center) at the reception desk and fill in the necessary information in the reception register.
Please wear clothing appropriate for training and indoor shoes.
