To further enhance student education, our university maintains close relationships with industry and NPOs, receiving various forms of support such as Lecturer dispatch and internship placements. We also actively receive cooperation in supporting overseas study programs and accepting students for domestic practical training, striving to improve the effectiveness of our education.

Tourism management personnel training Course

Asia University is participating in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's ``Tourism Management Human Resources Development Project in Collaboration with Universities, etc.'' and will aim to ``develop management human resources to support the further growth and development of the food and beverage industry and food tourism'' over a three-year period from 2021 to 2023. We will hold Course for the purpose.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is working with universities to develop new educational programs for those engaged in tourism-related businesses, with the aim of improving the management capabilities of tourism-related businesses and revitalizing the tourism industry. Olympic/Paralympic Cooperation Project

In preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games (hereinafter referred to as the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics), our university has made the following efforts.

Asia University Volunteer Training Program

This is a volunteer training program for applying for Games/City Volunteers recruited by the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Volunteer training was conducted by students (Asia University Volunteer Center, Volunteer Group "Seseragi") based on Asia University medium- to long-term plan.
 
In 2019, I participated in the Tokyo Marathon and the Rugby World Cup as a volunteer, and at the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, I participated as a tournament volunteer and as a city volunteer recommended by Musashino City.

Olympic and Paralympic-related public Course

From 2014, when our university signed a collaboration and cooperation agreement with the Organizing Committee, we have held an open Course on "Introduction to Sports Hospitality" until 2020. Olympians, Paralympians, and people from related organizations such as the Organizing Committee were invited each time to deepen their understanding of the Olympics and Paralympics from various angles in an omnibus format.

“ASIA YUME COLLEGE” Career Development China Program

The "“ASIA YUME COLLEGE” Development China Program" offers a four-year integrated program where students, while enrolled in their undergraduate studies, thoroughly learn about Asian business and the Chinese language. This program implements "Collaborative Education by Industry and Academia," where students learn while interacting with companies.

Efforts for foreign International Student in ASEAN countries

Since the 2017 academic year, our university has established the "Asia University ASEAN International Student Japan Program" (abbreviated as ASEAN-JAPAN Program), a cross-faculty scholarship program aimed at "developing global human resources who can succeed in Japanese companies." We nurture true international individuals who can meet the expectations of society not only in industry but at large.

Additionally, through donations from companies, we established the "ASEAN Countries International Student Scholarship Program." It targets foreign International Student from eight ASEAN countries who wish to study at our university, and currently has over 70 scholarship students enrolled from Intensive Japanese Course through undergraduate Senior.

Asia University ASEAN International Student Japan Program

A five-year integrated curriculum has been established. International students who are certified as program participants (ASEAN International International Student Scholarship recipients) will primarily study Japanese at the university's special program for international students, and then advance to their desired faculty from among the five faculties offered by the university (Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty Faculty of Economics, Faculty Faculty of Law, Faculty of International Relations, and Faculty of Sociology). In addition to Japanese language education, they will acquire basic knowledge and skills and develop fundamental professional skills through general education and specialized education.

ASEAN International Student Scholarship Program

Support period: Period of Japanese language education at the international student course (1 year) and period of enrollment at the undergraduate school (4 years)
Support amount: Amount equivalent to tuition fees (including admission fee and entrance examination fee)
*Support amount per person for 5 years: Approximately 5 million yen

Fundraising goal: 100 million yen each year Donation amount: 1 million yen per scholarship for the duration of the student's enrollment period. 5 or more donations, or 1 or more donations each year for 5 years or more.
