There is no admission quota for each type of examination. This is the capacity including each exam.

The Graduate Graduate School of Law master's program has an examination system for international International Student.
Examination: Professional basics and interview
Application requirements: Those who are of a nationality other than Japan and have graduated from a foreign university.

In the master's program of the Graduate Graduate School of Law, we conduct a "Examination for Working People" for Japanese people and foreigners who have graduated from Japanese universities.
Exam: essay and interview
Application requirements: Applicants with at least 2 years of work experience (including housework) after graduating from university.

There is a “recommendation admission” system for fourth-year undergraduate students at our university. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements set by research school.
The application eligibility criteria will be the number of Credit earned in the undergraduate school and the internal standard points for grades.
In addition, there is also a recommendation examination system for students of Intensive Japanese Course.

If you are from a faculty other than Faculty of Law, you will be required to take 8 Credit of classes at Faculty of Law after admission.

Applicants who have not completed the 16-year course and intend to apply for Graduate School entrance examination must have academic ability equivalent to or higher than those who have graduated from a university (applicants for the doctoral course must have a master's degree or a professional degree). It is necessary to examine whether there is or not before filing the application. This system is called “application eligibility screening”.
As a result of the examination, applicants can apply for Graduate School entrance examination only if their eligibility is recognized. Applicants who wish to be screened for eligibility should contact Admissions Center before the deadline for submission of screening documents.

The year in which you took the test does not matter, but you must have passed Level 1 (N1) of The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) to be eligible for application.

If you have passed the tax accountant examination in 3 or more subjects, you can apply for General Examination C method.
General Examination method C is only an interview examination.

Graduate School of Law Doctoral Course Entrance Examination Result Data

Classes are held from Monday to Saturday. Classes are held from 1st period to 5th period (8:45 to 18:55). Also, classes are not held in the evenings or on Sundays.
However, tax-related classes are held intensively on Saturdays. Some students complete the course with only Saturday classes.
*Some events are held on weekdays and must be attended (such as debriefing sessions to report on the progress of a thesis).

One class hour is 105 minutes.

If you apply after enrollment and are approved, you will receive a reduction in Tuition for the fall semester.

Teachers who can teach "Tax Law", which is exempted from tax accountant examination subjects, provide Seminar guidance. However, the National Tax Accountant Examination is under the jurisdiction of the National Tax Agency, so please be sure to contact the National Tax Agency or refer to the Tax Accountant Examination Information section on the Agency's website for details on the "Certified Tax Accountant Examination" and the "examination subject exemption based on degree" system.

Applications for exemption from tax accountant examination subjects must be made after completing the master's course and submitting a passed Master’s Thesis, so we do not know the exact number of people who have applied, but applications are made every year and exemptions are approved.

General companies, university teachers, and students aiming to become tax accountants find employment at accounting and tax accountant offices. Some go on to other schools.
