21st Century Asia Basics
Asia University has established a group of basic subjects called “21st Century Asia Basics.” Five areas are designated as Required Subject or recommended subjects as the foundation of learning at university. It is possible to acquire useful knowledge and skills not only during student life but also after entering society. Building a foundation is the shortcut to growth. "21st Century Asia Basics" will support your "serious" challenges.

foreign language education
We offer classes in 14 languages to help students understand different cultures and enhance their international capabilities. You can learn a wide variety of languages, mainly from Asia, but also from Europe, America, and the Middle East. It is one of the most fulfilling for a social sciences university that does not have a department specializing in foreign languages. It is also a feature that you can deepen your understanding of various cultures through language study.

Sub-major system
In addition to the specialized fields of study offered within your faculty and department, we have a minor program that allows you to systematically study data science and English. This fosters a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective on things.The subjects offered under the minor program are designed with consideration for the year of study to ensure systematic learning, and generally follow a hierarchical structure of introductory subjects ⇒ basic/applied subjects ⇒ advanced subjects.

Diverse study abroad and international exchange
Asia University, with its proven track record of sending many students abroad, offers a diverse range of study abroad programs with 34 universities in 18 countries and regions around the world, leveraging its unique international network. It also has a "certified study abroad" system that allows students to study at foreign universities of their own choosing. The university provides an environment conducive to studying abroad and international exchange, tailored to a variety of objectives.
