Since its founding, our university has focused on foreign language education with the aim of nurturing excellent human resources who will lead the globalization era, and has established an excellent educational system with both curriculum and faculty.
There are 14 foreign language courses offered. Many foreign teachers teach the classes, and students not only learn a foreign language, but also gain direct exposure to the circumstances, lifestyle, and customs of the teachers' home countries, deepening their understanding of different cultures.

The university offers classes in 14 languages. You can learn languages from around the world, mainly in Asia, but also in the Middle East, Europe, and America.Excluding universities with departments specializing in foreign languages, this number and breadth is one of the most comprehensive.
Each language can be taken from the first year, and the curriculum is structured so that applicants can study systematically from basic to advanced levels over the course of four years.

First-year courses that contribute to the results of studying abroad
Freshman English is a course taken by all first-year students across all faculties, primarily aimed at improving speaking skills. Instructors are native English speakers, providing a practical learning environment. Classes mainly consist of pair work and group work. Classes are divided by level, allowing even students who are not proficient in English to naturally become comfortable with conversation, creating an environment where they can confidently participate in study abroad programs.

Classes are organized on the basis of 20 students or less per class according to proficiency level. We will develop an all-participatory class that incorporates games and pair work.

In order to improve practical English proficiency, we offer classes taught in English in some faculties and Subject Open to All students. For example, we have classes to learn English, which is often used in business situations, by imagining specific situations such as ``product marketing'' and ``job interviews.'' In addition, there are classes that use case studies to learn about the roles played by international organizations, including the United Nations and NGOs.
