Even those who are not confident in English can study abroad

As a general rule, anyone who wishes to participate can participate as long as there are no problems with school attendance or health. However, depending on the department, participation conditions are set, so be sure to check.
Even if you study abroad for 5 months, you can graduate in 4 years

By taking high-quality classes taught by native English teachers and experiencing daily life in an English-speaking country, you can learn English in a natural way. You can earn up to 20 Credit at your study abroad destination, so you can graduate from university in four years without having to take a leave of absence.
Thorough support by local staff

Experienced local staff provide advice to AUAP students on their studies and daily life, and American Partners Assistants (IPAs) support students' lives while studying abroad.
Improve your TOEIC® score by 100 points or more

TOEIC® tests are administered before departure and upon return to the country to objectively assess the progress of students' English skills. Students will steadily improve their English language skills by being exposed to native English speakers in the local area. There is also a system in place that provides scholarships to students with high TOEIC® scores.
Living in a student dormitory with local students

In the dormitory where you study abroad, you will generally live with two local students to one room (although in some cases you may share with three or four other students). Living with friends of the same age will allow you to hone your conversation skills.
Grasp the degree of growth

Career advice can be provided before departure, and Asia University unique assessment sheet can be used to understand "the degree of personal growth."
A special experience that connects to the future
This is a study abroad program at two universities in Washington State (CWU and EWU) with the goals of "acquiring practical English," "understanding different cultures," and "discovering yourself." A major feature of this program is the generous support provided by dedicated staff.Dormitory life with roommates

You will live in a double room with an American student or an international International Student from another country (in principle). By communicating in English on a daily basis, you will acquire practical conversation skills.
Cultural exchange activities where you can practice English conversation

Through volunteer work at facilities for the elderly, events introducing Japanese culture, and elementary school visits, students learn the importance of diversity and cross-cultural understanding.
Original lessons for Asia University students

Students will study in our original classes, which are designed for students who have no experience studying abroad. They can practice pronunciation and conversation with American Assistant Students (IPA) and local students studying in teacher training courses.
Activities that lead to future careers

Visits to local companies and institutions, as well as classes and activities such as mock interviews and poster sessions in English. It will be an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the type of work and overseas work, and to draw your own career.
ESL to learn English with international International Student from all over the world*

These language classes are for students whose native language is not English, and you can take classes that will help you prepare for TOEFL® alongside international International Student from all over the world, as well as special classes for advanced students. Eligibility and conditions vary depending on the host university and the year of participation, so please check the details at the information session held after you arrive.
